[my bed, my home, my heart]

I love being home.

I babysit, at my house, all day, during the week lately.
My best friends are a 15-month-old baby, and my favorite Tibetan Terrier, Rosie.
I went from hanging out with college students, and the occasional kids, to hanging out with my parents, little brother, and friends of all kinds of ages.

I had my Graduate Information Meeting on Tuesday.
This resulted in...
a. I have summer school, starting at June 15th, every day for a month, at San Fran State.
b. I have been assigned to Washington Elementary School, in Berkeley. That means that starting this fall..
Mondays: SF State, 1-7pm
Tuesdays, Thursdays: Washington Elementary, observing: 8am-noon, grad class: 1-4pm
Wednesdays: Washington Elementary, observing: 8am-2pm
Fridays: free :)
c. I took BART there and back. From BART in the city, I took a bus. I made it on time to my meeting. Whilst trying to get back to the BART, I got on the same bus I had taken. An hour later, I found myself at the end of the bus line, and me down by Fort Mason...past the Golden Gate.
I was lost in the city.
I walked around, got directions/a vanilla latte from a trusty Starbucks barista, and got back on a MUNI bus to the BART station.

My friends..oh my lovely friends. How I love them.
I love that I went to school for 4 years, met new amazing friends who became like family...
and have returned to my "old" family of friends, where some things have changed, but mostly things are progressing in a natural and happy way.
Love.

Today was my Graduation Party.
My family and friends are so proud of me.
It makes me more proud of myself, and who I am.

Some excerpts from cards...

"Friends for life <3"

"We pray that Lord will continue to bless and keep you!"

"We are so (very) proud of you----"

"You have shown dedication to learn more than the minimum and we are sure you will excell in grad school.."

"You made it through college. Good job Gabby."

"I can't believe it went so fast! You are always in my heart and prayers."

"Jesus loves to bless you cause you take to blessing like a cup of soup goes with a sandwich!"

"We are so glad you are home with us now."

"I remember when you were 3 years old and knew word for word and would sit down and act like you were reading--blew people away. Anyway..."

"We want to add our hands in the clapping for you."

It's a beautiful thing...
I love being home.
