countdown: t-minus 6 days, i believe...
in honor of this beloved holiday, I've started to reflect upon what I am grateful for Thanksgiving 2008.
- sunshiney days when I ride my bicycle.
- Taco Tuesdays. Every week.
- new friends who bring new ideas, new love, and new laughs to my life.
- old friends who will always remain special as we continue to go through life together.
- my car...still in excellent working condition.
- my phone connecting me to the world.
- dancing. the fact that i've got to do it a lot this year.
- food: olive garden. mimi's breakfast. pick up stix. acai bowls. panda express. chipotle. niko niko. golden dragon.
- starbucks. i'm sorry. i'm a drone, judge me all you want.
- conversations. you never know where they'll lead you.
- my computer.
- yogurtland. aka heaven.
- my family. this one i could go on and on...suffice it to say: i would not have survived the past 5 months without them...or the previous years of my life, for that matter.
- Jesus in my life.
- the fact that after thanksgiving comes the most wonderful time of the year.
life is beautiful.
